MEET
Bonnie
Hello!
I'm Bonnie Williams, Owner of Bonnie Williams Pickleball, a small start-up pickleball instruction company I began in March of 2020 after having some success teaching pickleball as a side-hustle on the local courts in my neighborhood in the Portland, Oregon area. Turns out teaching is a passion I must have gotten from my dad who taught high school his entire career. As a USTA Mid-Atlantic junior ranked tournament player that received a full tennis scholarship to the College of Charleston, I was fortunate to have received high quality instruction from several fabulous tennis coaches which led to me becoming an NAIA All-American. Later, I became a full-time mother of two terrific children who happened to struggle with dyslexia which furthered my educational exposure to better understand the true value of different teaching and learning styles.
While rehabbing an ACL injury, I was introduced to this great game of pickleball - thank you Oscar Garcia!

Living in the Pacific Northwest has granted me experience with the likes of Sarah Ansbury, Wesley Gabrielsen, Enrique Ruiz and Steve Paranto, all phenomenal coaches that have had a hand in shaping my own personal pickleball game. After 6 years of practicing and playing pickleball I have won:

-
(7) USAPA Nationals Championships

-
(4) Tournament of Champions

-
(3) US Open Championships.

After years of tournament experience both on and off the court I really enjoy teaching and hope to share my knowledge and experience with you on your pickleball journey.
I offer private and group instruction and coaching for players of all skill levels.
Call or email me today if you would like to discuss lessons and availability in the Portland, OR area. I’d love to hear from you!
